Hi!

This is a game written in order to teach myself how Twine worked. Please forgive how short it is as it is only for practice and was written in a very short amount of time. I hope that it captures a good atmosphere and is at least mildly entertaining. I hope to continue writing for games and creating more robust narratives in the future. Please enjoy and leave any feedback / bug reports in the comments. Thank you!

I thought this was an adorable little first game. I got all three endings, starting with the third, then the first, then had to twiddle around a bit to find ending 2, which is a LOT like ending 1.

There is some decent writing in this! (Ostensibly, allegedly, if you're feeling generous AND you squint, I write games ""professionally"", and have done for well over a decade now.)

I noticed the humor. It might be a good idea rewriting it again but completely dead straight serious, as an exercise. Either that and/or coming up with a "good" ending.

But my final comment is this: a tennis jam vaporizing a Labrador-sized cockroach into green goo? Dubious. Have you ever squashed a real cockroach or really any substantial bug? I'm not saying you can't kill one in one half-decent hit with a shoe or a rolled up magazine or whatever, but they definitely leave a surprisingly intact corpse behind. They are unpleasantly crunchy.

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback and the suggestions. I totally get what you mean about crunchy corpses. I took some liberties in order to achieve as much of a goose-bumpsian atmosphere as possible without worrying about twitching carapaces and (possibly) little roach babies crawling out of a popped egg casing.

I really enjoyed this! Great job on your first game. The writing was funny and I had a fun time getting all 3 endings! Your game starts at 5:05ish if you want to see my reaction. Keep it up!!

Hell yeah! Thanks a ton for taking the time to play it and the kind words. Definitely will leave a like and subscribe!
